Is the Google toolbar incompatible with IE8?

I installed IE 8 yesterday and didn't realize that by doing so I would lose Google and all that goes with it, like Autofill! If I add Google back am I asking for trouble? Please help!|||First of all IE8 is stil in testing stages, it only have beta version 2 out, so there are going to be bugs and things that don;t work with it. So that is probably why the google toolbar doesn't work right now with it,.|||From Microsoft

Google Toolbar

Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 displays a compatibility warning when certain versions of the Google Toolbar add-in are installed. This issue occurs because Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 and specific versions of this add-in are incompatible, and the installation is unstable. When you disable this add-in, the functionality that this product provides is removed.

For more information and for updates, visit the following Google Toolbar Web site:

When I did this I got the option to upgrade my google toolbar to version 5. This works with IE8 beta2 and I'm currently using it. It has some new features that I like and wish I could get GOOG toolbar 5 for Firefox 3.

If you don't get the option you can install version 5 from the link below.

Good luck and happy browsing.|||Yes thats why I switched to Condiut toolbar.

Its better than the google toolbar.

It has an email notfier, you can search google, use a calorie calculator, watch tv online, take notes. All from the toolbar.

This is the same toolbar used by The Discovery Channel, World Wildlife Fund, Green Peace etc... so its very safe.

get it here:
