i looked at other questions but still cant find a solution. i uninstalled the toolbar yet somehow it comes back. i also checked the option and cancelled all updates.|||To uninstall from the Toolbar Settings menu:

1. Click the Settings button located directly on your Google Toolbar. If you don't have a Settings button on your Toolbar, then you likely have an older version installed. Instead, please click the Google logo button to the left of your search box.

2. Choose Help %26gt; Uninstall.

3. Optional: Add comments about your experience with the Toolbar.

4. Click the Uninstall the Google Toolbar button.

To uninstall from the Control Panel:

1. Click the Windows Start menu in the lower-left corner of your screen.

2. Select Settings %26gt; Control Panel.

3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

4. Select Google Toolbar for IE.

5. Click the Remove button.|||Have you tried removing it through the Control Panel? If not, go to Start, then Control Panel, then "Add or remove programs", then scroll down to "Google Toolbar". Right click on it and click Remove.

Sorry if this is too detailed. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the steps.

Added: Have you tried going to the Google toolbar, then under Settings, select Uninstall?
