How do you delete history in a google toolbar when it's so full it won't let you delete anything?

I have so much info in my google search bar, that when I go to delete the history it won't let me. Usually where it says "Clear History" at the bottom of it, I click on that. But even when I scroll all the way to the bottom, the "Clear History" button, won't appear. How do I clear my history then?
